God delights in hearing the prayers of His righteous children. For the eyes of the Lord are on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers, but the face of the Lord is against those who do evil.
Evidently, if you are not righteous or if you are not seeking God’s righteousness, your prayers will not be very effective.
